To start using Mobile money service from Stanbic IBTC, you first of all need to be registered for the service and you can do this by dialing the USSD code *909# or visiting the mobile money website at stanbicibtcbank.mobi

Using the website
============
- Enter your Phone number
- click on register
- Enter your details e.g phone number, name, date of birth, id type(National, Driver's, International passport, id number and a secret word
- Submit the form

Using the USSD code
=============
- Just dial *909#
- Reply to register by sending 4
- Enter your first name and reply
- Enter your last name and reply again
- Enter your date of birth in the format MMDDYYYY and reply
- Enter your secret word and reply
- Enter a 4 digit Wallet PIN and reply
- Confirm the PIN again

You will receive an OTA message that it was successful and may read as follows:

"Congratulations! You now have a MobileMoney Wallet account"

You will also receive a text message telling you of your account number and how to use the service.

Using the Mobile money service
=================
Now to access mobile money options, you can dial *909# or go to their mobile money website at http:// stanbicibtcbank.mobi. However as at the time of writing this, only the USSD option seems to be working i.e. *909#

- Dial *909#
- Reply with 1(Wallet), 2(Bank) or 3(Services)
- With option 1, you can do any of the following: Balance inquiry, Transfer, Withdrawal, Cash voucher, Airtime top up, Pay merchant and Pay your bills
- With option 2, you can do m-banking and Stanbic m-banking
- With 3, you can change your waller PIN, send account information, get a mini statement, contact customer service, send wap link, see your beneficiaries
- To return back to the previous menu, just reply with a 0.

How to add funds to your Mobile money account.
====
- Just visit any Stanbic IBTC branch or agent and pay them using your phone number as account number. You would also tell them how much you want to deposit.

Note that depositing from N10,000 and avove is free while below N10,000 could attract a fee.

Things you can do with mobile money service
===
- Deposit money
- Pay for bills
- Buy airtime
- Check balance and transaction statement
- Withdraw money to ATM without a card

Stanbic IBTC mobile money service is available on most Nigerian networks such as MTN, Glo and Etisalat. Just dial *909# to get started.

As far as I know, this only works in Nigeria. It may work in UAE under another platform or network

For now, it seems Stanbic mobile money ATM withdrawals are disabled.
